Personal ProfileKevin has occupied career CEO positions both in the Queensland Government (Geographic Information, Public Works & Housing) and in the private sector (DCI Pty Ltd, The Professionals Real Estate Group). His positions have included Surveyor General of Queensland, Chairman of the Queensland Council of Professions, Deputy Chancellor of the Queensland University of Technology, and Chairman of the Association of Consulting Surveyors. He has received a Spatial Excellence Award from the Queensland spatial industry for research into the functioning of property rights in Australia (2005), and an Award from the Department of Natural Resources and Mines for Leadership in encouraging Land Administration Reform (2003) He has received an Eminent Individual Award from the Australasian Urban & Regional Information Systems Association 'for his outstanding contribution to the science of information systems and material advancement of the practice of information systems' (1988) He is currently retained on developing
proposals for reform of Property Rights and their administration in Australia
and New Zealand.
